Amira and I spent a day in Rome en route to Naples, mainly to visit my friend, Rev. Robert R. Ballecer (a.k.a. “Padre” for you TWiT fans) at a Vatican — I’m sorry, THE Vatican.
He was kind enough to take a few hours out of his busy schedule to show us around the Jesuit house where he currently resides and works. We grabbed a coffee and caught up a little, and he told us about the Vatican, the house and all kinds of historical factoids of interest.
The house where he lives is amazing, with a beautiful garden and a couple of amazing rooftops, one of which has this incredible view of a St. Peter’s — I’m sorry, THE St. Peter’s (a.k.a. the Papal Basilica of St. Peter in the Vatican).
Anyway, thank you, Padre, for sharing your valuable time with us this morning!
