My definition for "smart glasses" are any glasses that look more or less like regular glasses, but which contain both at least one microprocessor and one battery.
So many people still think this won't happen. Such people are wrong. Smart glasses will not only go mainstream, become ubiquitous and be offered as an option by every optometrist out there, but the'll also eventually replace smartphones as the main way we connect and communicate.
